Whenever my wife and I make a city trip I always need to see local design initiatives. Not only to see if I find something for at home, but being around creative minds gives me ideas too. This idea I got from visiting Brussels.

While visiting Light + Building 2016 in Frankfurt am Main I found the OLEDs from LG very interesting. Not only are they very thin (0.8mm) but also their transfo is very small, as they consume littly energy.

So I decided to create this foldable reading light containing five OLEDs from 10x10cm (9x9cm).

Every OLED holder can be turned 90°, giving a number of opportunities to use it for example as an ambient light or reading light.
